Green Oak provides outdoor landscape design and build, interior plantscaping, seasonal color pot and bed maintenance, event plants and florals, wedding florals, and commercial Christmas decoration services.

Green Oak has a garden center and a gift shop/florist in Jackson, MS, and another gift shop/florist in Ridgeland, MS.
Our Jackson address is 5009 Old Canton Rd.
Our Ridgeland address is 1067 Highland Colony Pkwy.

Our Jackson location’s business hours are Monday through Saturday from 8 AM to 5:30 PM. Our Township location is open 9 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday. Please note that hours may vary by location and season.

We strive for your complete satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with your order, please follow these guidelines:

  • Fresh Flowers: Substitutions of equal or greater value may be made due to nature, seasonality, and regional availability. Efforts will be made to maintain the overall shape, size, style, and color combinations.
  • Non-Perishable Gift Items: Items can be returned for an exchange of equal value or a refund within 7 days of the purchase date with a receipt.
  • Balloons: Only Mylar balloons are delivered.
  • Plants: Similar plants may be substituted of equal or greater value. For one-of-a-kind plants, an attempt will be made to match the plant type, but the color may be substituted. Containers will be as close as possible.
  • Gift Baskets: Substitutions within a basket may be made with items of greater or equal value if necessary to guarantee freshness and timely delivery.
  • Special Occasions: To ensure timely delivery for special occasions, substitutions of equal or greater value may be made. If the requested flowers are not available and the customer cannot be contacted, the closest available flowers/color will be substituted.

We accept various forms of payment, including credit cards, debit cards, ACH, and cash. For online orders, we accept major credit cards.

We are closed on New Year’s Day, Easter, Independence Day, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Florist & Gift Shop

Yes, our full-service florist shops offer custom floral designs for every occasion. We’ll be happy to make accommodations for you if you call the floral shop at 601.956.5017 or fill out the contact form under the “Contact Us” page.

Yes, we offer a variety of gift baskets available at our gift shops. You can also customize your own gift basket by purchasing individual items. We’ll be happy to wrap them together for you in a basket style.

Yes! We offer a 24-hour guarantee that ensures your gift is of the highest quality upon arrival. We will make necessary adjustments if notified of discrepancies within 24 hours of delivery.

Deliveries

Same-day orders are processed immediately and usually cannot be changed. To cancel or change an order that has not been processed, please call immediately. All changes or cancellations must be verbal. Email changes or cancellations are not accepted.

The delivery person will try to contact the sender first for additional instructions. If the sender is unavailable, they will try to contact the recipient. If neither is available, the delivery person will evaluate the environment and decide if it is safe to leave the arrangement on-site or with a neighbor. A notice of attempted delivery may be left for the recipient.

No, we are unable to deliver flowers to a P.O. Box or an A.P.O. address.

Schools do not accept deliveries for students. Teacher’s gifts should be sent to the administrative office, and student orders should be sent to their residence. Orders to high schools should be placed early, as most stop accepting deliveries after 2 pm.

If the recipient refuses to accept a delivery, an attempt will be made to contact the sender. No refunds will be given.

If the recipient’s address is incorrect and delivery was attempted, there is a $10 address correction fee. We are not responsible for deliveries made to incorrect addresses provided by customers. The customer assumes responsibility for the entire purchase if such a delivery is made.

Normal delivery times are 8am-5pm daily. During major holidays such as Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, we offer extended hours and delivery times. Please call to verify.

Yes, we offer same-day delivery if you order by 2:00 pm in the recipient’s time zone, Monday through Friday. For same-day service on the weekend, please order by noon on Saturday.

To help assure on-time delivery during busy holiday seasons, place your order in advance prior to the following major holidays:

Funeral home orders are our highest priority. If you have ordered too late to make the funeral service we will call to let you know quickly so that you can make other arrangements or have something sent to the home of the family.

If you do not know the zip code or exact address of the funeral home, we will look it up for you. We normally contact the funeral home to verify the viewing’s time and to make arrangements for the flower delivery. If you have selected a delivery date before the actual viewing, we will deliver per the funeral home instructions.

Christmas

We provide professional and customizable commercial Christmas decor packages, all of which include design, setup, maintenance, and takedown. We will also store your decor for you. Our packages fit your budget and vision, whether traditional, elegant, or modern. Any of our rental packages can be redesigned every three to five years, giving you the flexibility you need for the perfect decor. Be sure to ask about our live Christmas plantings!

Yes, during the Christmas season, we sell live, high-quality Christmas trees at our garden center. We also have a select assortment of artificial trees, as well as live and artificial wreaths and garlands.
