Our History
The Foundations
Billy Martinson, a horticulture graduate from Mississippi State University, laid the foundation of Green Oak Florist & Flower Delivery in 1960 with a commitment to providing quality plants and services. His dedication and expertise quickly established the company as a reliable name in the Jackson area.
The McKie Legacy
In the years that followed, his daughter Karen and son-in-law Maur McKie took over the reins, guiding Green Oak Florist & Flower Delivery through a period of growth and innovation until 2020.
The Third Generation
Today, the legacy is proudly carried forward by third-generation owners Eric and Carly James McKie, who are hopeful their two toddlers will one day carry on the family legacy, too.
