At Green Oak, we are committed to delivering your flowers, plants, and gifts with care, quality, and timeliness. Whether you’re sending a thoughtful gesture across town or planning for a special occasion, our delivery process is designed to ensure a smooth experience from start to finish.
Holiday Delivery
To help ensure on-time delivery during peak seasons, we encourage you to place your order in advance of major holidays, including:
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas
- New Year’s
- Valentine’s Day
- Easter
- Bosses Day
- Mother’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Father’s Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Halloween
We are closed on the following holidays and do not deliver on these dates:
- New Year’s Day
- Easter
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Memorial Day
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas
Same-Day Delivery
We offer same-day delivery when orders are placed by:
- 2:00 PM (recipient’s time zone) Monday–Friday
- 12:00 PM on Saturday
We are closed on Sundays and do not deliver unless scheduled for a special event.
Delivery Hours
- Old Canton Location: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Ridgeland Location: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Normal delivery hours are 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM daily.
During major holidays like Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day, we may offer extended delivery hours—please call to confirm.
Timed Delivery Requests
If you need your order delivered by a specific time, we offer timed delivery for an additional fee. Please call us directly to schedule this service.
- Timed delivery guarantees that your order arrives within a designated time window.
- If you have a hard deadline (such as a lunch break, ceremony, or school dismissal), we strongly recommend selecting this option.
If you do not select timed delivery:
- Please provide a secondary delivery address (such as a home or nearby business) in case the delivery cannot be completed on time.
- Without a timed delivery fee or backup address, we cannot guarantee on-time delivery to the original location.
Funeral Deliveries
Funeral home orders are our highest priority. We will:
- Confirm service times directly with the funeral home
- Adjust delivery schedules based on viewing details
- Look up addresses if you do not have them
If a banner is unavailable due to time sensitivity, we will substitute with additional flowers of equal value to enhance the arrangement.
School Deliveries
- Students: Most schools do not accept deliveries for students. We recommend sending these to their residence.
- Teachers: Gifts can be sent to the administration desk.
- Important: School deliveries should be placed early in the day as they often must be received by 2:00 PM.
If No One Is Home
If no one is available to receive the delivery:
- Our delivery driver will attempt to contact the sender first, then the recipient.
- If neither can be reached, the driver will determine whether it is safe to leave the item at the door, in a shaded area, or with a neighbor.
- If delivery cannot be completed, we will leave a notice of attempted delivery. The recipient may then contact us to schedule a pickup or redelivery.
Incorrect Addresses
If an incorrect address is provided:
- A $10 address correction fee will apply.
- Green Oak is not responsible for deliveries made to incorrect addresses submitted by the customer.
- If delivery is completed to an incorrect address, the sender assumes responsibility for the full cost.
Cancellations & Changes
- Same-day orders are processed immediately and usually cannot be changed or canceled once in progress, en route, or delivered.
- Email changes or cancellations are not accepted.
- To cancel or change an order that has not yet been processed, call us immediately. All order changes or cancellations must be made verbally.
Recipient Refusal
If a recipient refuses a delivery, we will make an attempt to notify the sender. However, no refunds will be issued in these cases.
Card Messages
Card messages are written to reflect your personal sentiments for the occasion. Please double-check for spelling or message details when submitting your order.
Our Guarantee
We offer a 24-hour quality guarantee on all delivered items. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours so we can make the necessary adjustments.
